Connection can mean so many things: to yourself, to other people, to your creativity, to your sense of wellbeing.

Providing value for money whilst remaining accessible is what has always inspired the work I do at The Opaque Elephant.
You won’t find inflated prices, over-promising, or gimmicks.

After trialling some different workshops in Ashfield thanks to the support of Enterprising Ashfield, I’ve also recently been commissioned by Ashfield Creates to run free art workshops in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
Ranging from outdoor popups, seasonal crafting, and messy play for adults, I aim to bring mindful creativity to everyone at affordable price points. The gallery slideshow showcases some of the completed pieces and feedback from previous workshops.

Why Choose Me as a Facilitator?
I believe workshops should feel welcoming, playful, and purposeful.
My role is to create a space where you can explore freely, without pressure, and discover new perspectives through creativity and reflection, whilst also being supported in trying something new.
With a background in teaching, I know how to guide groups and adapt to the needs of those attending. I design sessions that meet you where you are and encourage the process of reflection and creative expression, no matter where that road may take you.
My focus is always on your experience: you’ll walk away with fresh insights, tools you can use again, and the confidence that your voice and perspective matter. I don’t believe in selling you a magical quick-fix, but I do believe in empowering you to embrace your creativity, the power of reflection, and to connect with everything around you.

I offer private workshops designed for groups who want something a little different: a hen do with a playful twist, a team-building session that goes beyond the usual icebreakers, or a birthday gathering filled with creativity and connection.
