It’s the month of inspiration for a little while longer, and I’ve – rather unfortunately – not been on top of updating my blog as of late.

A large part of this is due to me being more involved in community projects lately, and grappling with my own sources of inspiration and making time to pursue that. Perhaps there’s a lesson in that – that sometimes we need to go with the flow more readily, we need to go off-schedule and be a little adaptable in what we’re doing.

I’ll be sharing a little more about what I’ve been working on from the business side of things over the next few days. I’ve already discussed the workshops I’ve planned for May in previous posts, but I haven’t really created a landing page for them yet.

I thought it would be nice to share a little bit about the nature-inspired work I’ve been doing recently within my local community. Although Fridays are typically reserved for spirituality-adjacent posts, I do also think this is a great opportunity for sharing other types of connections.

Last week, I went to a collage workshop at Inspire Kirkby-in-Ashfield to help in designing a paint job for the garden shed. I had lots of fun creating some silly collages inspired by native British Wildlife in the style of the commissioned artist.

She then used the collages created by everyone to design the mural for the shed, applied the designs to the shed, and a few of us went back to help with the painting.

I think it’s just been a lovely experience to get involved with some community projects lately. I’ve been surprised at how many like-minded people I’ve met just from attending a handful of events at the library and the opportunities that has created for me.

So, in case you needed it, this is a reminder to get out there and get involved with your community! You never know what might happen if you do!
